Birthday cards to the rescue!

Nowadays life is busy and buying a birthday card is often the last thing on the list of things to do. But it's something that's important.

I'm here to help you save time and give unique handmade cards.

Check out this set of four birthday cards I created this morning.

What I LOVE about this set is that is perfect for ANY age or GENDER.

What's even neater is that on the inside of each card there is a sentiment. Now you don't have to figure out what you are going to say.

These cards are ready to be shipped to you.

Craft fair this Saturday

Hey, Guys

For the past two weeks, I have been busy getting ready for a craft fair this Saturday. All the artists featured make handmade items like paper goods, jewelry, clothing, handbags, bath and body products. I'm excited to be among so many talented people.

I decided to branch out from cards.

Here's an item I call inspirational word art. As a writer, I love words and as a spoken word artist, I know the great power they hold when spoken aloud. This word art is crafted on canvas so it's perfect for hanging on your wall - adding inspiration to your work space or any other room in your home or office.

Although it seems like summer just started, school will be in session in no time. Here are some post-it note holders that will make a great teacher gift. This is also a goodie for you to put on your desk.

This is another office item and a great teacher gift. This is a post-it note organizer. It includes two types of post-it notes, a pen and a pocket. This is great to carry in your purse to make grocery lists, keep track of errands you need to do and store receipts and coupons.

I had a ball making these babies - clothes pins magnets. These are great to hold your child's art, notes, bills or recipes. The patterned paper gives the clothes pin a jazzy look. The magnet on the back allows you to stick them on your fridge.

Check out these items and my cards at the fair.
The event is: Saturday July 16
10 am - 3 pm
Roseville Rainbow Community Pavilion
1201 Larpenteur Ave. West
St. Paul, MN

See you soon!

Yours Sincerely

Celebrate new beginnings

Throughout high school and college, I did a lot of babysitting. Babies and toddlers were my favorite age group to care for. I loved cuddling with infants and seeing the joy of exploration from toddlers. They were so excited with every new word they spoke, new animal they saw and every new action they could do. They were loving life. Being around children reminds me to enjoy life - all of it because it truly is a precious gift from God.

This weekend I decided to work on baby cards. I thought of the children I used to babysit and my friends who are expecting as I crafted.

No matter under what circumstances a child enters the world, it's still a reason to celebrate.

Each card is crafted with care. I do not have duplicates of these cards so these are truly one of a kind. If you would like a custom card to commemorate the arrival of a bundle of joy, just let me know.

Have a great day. Be like a kid and enjoy every minute of your life.

Yours Sincerely
Chasity

Oh Baby!

I have several friends who are having babies this summer. One friend is due any minute and another is due at the end of August. I wanted to start working on some cards for them.

Designing cards usually takes me the longest so I surfed some YouTube videos to get my creative juices flowing and came up with an original design.

I wanted this card to be simple and versatile. I took one design and did different twists to each card making it like an entirely new card. If you ever have to make multiple cards, it's a good idea to find one design that you like and use in different ways.

This card can work for other occasions as well. Change the footprints to a cupcake and you have a birthday card. The baby to a flower and you have a sympathy card. The possibilities are endless.

These cards will be listed this week in my Etsy shop, which you can find here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/yourssincerelygifts

Happy Crafting!

Yours Sincerely
